Please Pray for the Chapman Family

We never truly understand why God allows us to go through tragedy, but God's word tells us to rejoice in times of trials and know that God is a God of love and mercy and that He will be our comfort and strength at all times! God has used Steven Curtis Chapman mightily to encourage and provide songs of hope to a heavy burden world...let's stand together and lift this family up...that they would stand firmly in the Hope and Goodness of our Creator!
"Be strong and Take Heart, all you who hope in the Lord"
Psalm 31:24

MARIA SUE CHAPMAN, DAUGHTER OF STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, DIES IN ACCIDENT AT FAMILY HOME
NASHVILLE, TN...5/21/08... At approximately 5pm on the afternoon of Wednesday May 21st, Maria Sue Chapman, 5 years old and the youngest daughter to Steven and Mary Beth Chapman was struck in the driveway of the Chapman home in Franklin, TN. Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, transported by Life Flight, but died of her injuries there. Maria is one of the close knit family’s six children and one of their three adopted daughters.
More than five years ago, Chapman and his wife Marybeth founded The Shaohannah’s Hope Ministry after bringing their first adopted daughter, Shaohannah, home from China. The ministry’s goal is to help families reduce the financial barrier of adoption, and has provided grants to over 1700 families wishing to adopt orphans from around the world. Chapman is a five-time GRAMMY ® winner and 54-time Dove Award winning artist who has sold over 10 million albums and garnered 44 No. 1 singles.

The Chapman family is so grateful for the incredible outpouring of love and support at this difficult time.
If you would like to offer up condolences:
By mail, send to PO Box 150156 Nashville, TN 37215.
In lieu of flowers, the Chapmans request any gifts be directed to Shaohannah’s Hope.

Moriah Witherby's Dedication

It is always a blessing to be able to offer our children back to God and say " We thank you God for the gift of this child, would you please lead and guide us, that we may be able to raise this child to grow to love you with all their hearts!"

Kellie visits Williamsburg

Many years ago Pastor Toms grandfather was praying for someone to share God's word with his grandson and to witness to him the love of our amazing God. God heard and he sent Kellie and her husband to do just that. They prayed and they witnessed to Tom and Jeanne. Kellie boldly stepped out and invited them to church. The full circle of God's divine plan. To think if they had not been bold enough to share God's good news then we may not have the blessings of the good work God is doing in and through Pastor Tom and Ms. Jeanne! Praise God for his plans and ways are much better then ours!

Church's New Van

The church was blessed by the donation of a van. This is awesome for ministry...we will be able to utilize it greatly. In fact we were able to load it up and head out to minster at Mike's Skate shop outreach this Sunday. Praise God! He will open up lots of ministry opportunities with this van!

Ask...and You Shall Receive!

Our church is a small warehouse that God has opened up and really transformed into a spirit filled building! We have had very little parking available for our body to park on Sundays. In fact we have had to many park in the shopping center located next door and then be shuttled over in vans to and from service. So we have been praying and asking God to please provide a better parking plan and space! PRAISE our Wonderful Creator...as this is a photo of our church body standing in the new parking lot made available to us to use for church services. It is located right behind the church building. God hears and He delivers, not only what you ask for but His word say for more abundantly then you ask for. How cool is our God that not only did he allow the outlet center next door to grow and expand but to also provide this parking lot, and it is more then we ask..it is fully landscaped!!! That's how much our God wants to love and bless us!! Thank you Jesus!!

Youth Purity Seminar

Pastor Tom and Pastor Thomas Powell
Pastor Thomas Powell from Calvary Chapel Virginia Beach came and gave the word and encouragement to the youth and college age kids...teach and training them the dangers in today's world to fall away from purity... It was an awesome teaching!
All the young men who attended the seminar...please continue to pray for them, that they would stand firm and strong against the ways of this world! That they would become incredible mighty men for Jesus!
Here are the young ladies that attended the seminar...we pray that they would not be in tangled into this worldly perspective of what makes a girl popular and that she would stand firmly and be transformed into the lovely young women God has created her to become!
