Fellowship with CC Richmond

We were so blessed by the invitation to fellowship with the women at CC Richmond for their Women's Christmas Brunch. They have a wonderful group of ladies with kind and warm hearts. They had soo much great food! We enjoyed an awesome time of worship, the songs they choose to sing were amazing and powerful. Pastor Tim's wife, Sarah encouraged us to "Behold the Lamb" to look upon the Lord and seek after Him today and not have a mindset that is waiting for heaven to behold Him. That as we look upon Him and reflect the Lamb that we would be pointing others to the lamb.

Are your eyes on or away from the Lord?
Are you reflecting the Lamb or are you distracted or being a distraction from the Lord?

Fun Fellowship

Last night we were able to spend some time fellowship and celebrating Ms. Jeanne's Birthday after service. It was a great evening! A wonderful message by Pastor Tom followed up with cake and fun...HOW GOOD IS OUR GOD!!!

Women's Christmas Luncheon

This past Saturday the women gathered for a wonderful time in the Lord. The Lord provided a beautiful time of food fellowship and encouragement in His word. It is such a huge blessing when the women come together and use their differant talents to share with eachother; from cooking and preparing the meal to decorating and setting up the tables to serving. We were reminded of the heart of Mary for Jesus and His word. She meditated on store up in her heart the things of the Lord. That is our prayer this Christmas season that we would be a nation who is so in love with Jesus that we desire to know Him intimatly!

How sweet is the "FELLOWSHIP" between the body of Christ!

We were able to hang out and share in some good food after service last week. It is so much fun to be able to sit and enjoy and share in the lives of your brothers and sisters!

Thank you God for beautiful crisp weather, vibrant shades of fall, good food and the love of gathering together in the name of the Lord!

Emma's Dedication

It is always a special time of rejoicing when a mother and father stand before God and commit to raising their child in the ways of the Lord! We are honored and blessed to be able to share in the life of the Hennessey's and look forward to all the wonderful things God does in their families life as they take steps to serve God fully in their home. We continue to pray that God will grow in the life of Emma and she would grow into a beautiful child of God.

We were so blessed to spend time with Sean Sepulveda. He came for a week visit from Boston and joined the fellowship with a great week of ministry. He is a great man and praise God for all He is doing in Sean's life!

The Question???

Patrick and Lydia went to a really cool outdoor ice rink in Northern Virginia near D.C. and he set it all up and made many preparations for this wonderful occasion. It's pretty obvious Lydia said "yes" to "the question" and all around everyone cheered as she said "yes." The atmosphere was just as Patrick hope for...very "wintery." We continue to pray for Patrick and Lydia in their walks with the Lord together and their engagement!

Focus on the Family - Parenting Simulcast

This past Saturday we were so BLESSED by the hospitality of Unity Baptist Church who opened up their church to host the Focus on the Family Parenting Simulcast. They rolled out the "major" WELCOMING mat! They served us a great snack in the morning and then a wonderful healthy lunch and then kept us going with an afternoon snack! They provided AMAZING care for our children! They truly showered us with the LOVE of CHRIST!

The conference was such a life changing perspective on parenting children to live a life of Faith! WOW...did you know that 65 percent of our children when they reach college age will walk away from their faith? Out of the 100 youth groups they polled..the number 1 reason for them walking away was due to being drug to church on Sunday morning but not seeing mom and dad live out their walk with Jesus, the rest of the week at home!!! WOW....what a perspective...how we make such high expectations and set out major plans for their education but we don't implement SPIRITUAL plans for our children and live as an example...we are setting them up for failure!

We were all extremely blessed and encouraged to be an example 24/7 to our kids of the love God has for each of us!
