Brittany Update...

While Pastor Tom was in California he got a chance to see Brittany. Here she is with Mario and fellow servant at CC Living Water. It is wonderful to see her and please continue to pray for her as she joins the Celestine family for the next 6 weeks at CC Norco attending a missionary training program. We can't wait to hear all that God will be doing next in her life!

Giving Praise for the Fair Outreach

We rejoice in the Lord always and again we say, "REJOICE"! We were all indeed excited to share the great praises of what our God did at the fair. Each person who served got an opportunity to share. We were so blessed to see God open up Divine appointments to share the Gospel. The body was encouraged and spurred on by hearing all the GOOD NEWS!.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrres Jay!"

Meet Jay Holden. He does our announcements for the body and leads our young adults ministry(theBridge). God has been adding weekly to the young adult study. They are greatly enjoying the time together and hanging out with one another and the Lord.
Jay and Katrina have opened up their home and make dinner for the group. Jay leads them in study and makes Jesus real to them. He leaves lots of time for questions and open discussion. Please pray for this ministry and invite a friend to come... you'll be glad you came!!

Mike's Skate Shop Outreach

This month at Mike's we were TOTALLY blessed. Not only did we get to go hangout with the youth at Mike's but it was Father's Day and also National Skate Day! WOW!
When we arrived at the skate shop everything was set up outside. The team got to worship outside with a PA system and Pastor Tom gave a message to all near and far off in the parking lot. He spoke about our Heavenly Father, Abba and His everlasting love. Ten kids rededicated their lives that day to follow after Jesus.
There were two men also standing near by that were drawn in by the message. One man said, "He was captivated by the words and he could not move or leave. He was drawn." How true!! God's loving kindness truly draws us to Him. This day was their day of salvation! These men in tears and in brokenness accepted the Lord and were loved on by the team. They were just there and God reached down with the love of Jesus and met their greatest need! Praise God!

Pastor Jerry & Ms. Kim

While Tom was in California Pastor Jerry asked Pastor Tom to teach at CC Living Water. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and great to see all our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please continue to pray for Pastor Jerry and his wife Kim as they minister at Living Water. God is continuing to do great things through the body of believers there. We thank God for them and all their prayers for us here in Virginia. We love you guys!!

Pray for Celestine Family

"Spurred on in Faith" Conference

The young girls and women gathered together to be spurred on in their faith. We began our day with a delicious lunch and then were blessed by worship from Hannah Ruiz. Joanna and Hannah Ruiz from Okinawa, Japan and Rachel Zabel taught on being encouraged in our Faith that we may run with endurance in our relationship with Jesus. We were spurred on and blessed with awesome fellowship and time in prayer.

Sneak Peak into our Nursery

The most lovable place in our building ;) How we love the babies of our church, and pray God's blessings upon them and that they would grow up feeling His love and grow into amazing young children and then adults who love the Lord their God with all their heart and minds and souls!

Family Dedication

We are always excited when a family says that they have a desire to raise their children in the ways of the Lord. Sunday, that is just what Bobby and Kristen Bilderback have said. They have dedicated all 4 of their children to the Lord and have asked God to guide them in their journey of raising Godly children.

CM Training Meeting

We were truly blessed this past Sunday to have Joanna Ruiz from Okinawa, Japan here to encourage our CM servants in the way of the Master Teacher, Jesus himself. We were encouraged to love, pray and teach the children in the ways that Jesus himself had demonstrated throughout His ministry. If you were unable to make it to the meeting please request a copy of it as we have recorded it.

Mission's Day

The missions Team (from left to right; Brandon,Jay Holden,Jackie,Brian,Annie Horner,Rachel Zabel,Adina and Francis Celestine, Jeanne Hallman and Pastor Tom up top) have safely made it back home and we had an awesome service Sunday hearing and seeing all that God did in and through them. It was a blessing to hear each of them share their hearts. Here are a few things God put upon their hearts.
Jay Holden was challenged to live each day in the moment..not to be so caught up in the agenda things that you miss the God things. He was touched by the way the people in Trinidad and Guyana were never on a time table, never late, always had time to just stop and wait.
Jackie Horner challenged us to take steps of faith and to just go and trust that God will work everything out! It was exciting to see how God used Jackie to provide medical care for the children on this missions trip. It is a characteristic of Christ that she showed as she provided the same love and care for the 50th kid that came as she did to the 1st one she saw.
Brian Horner was used on this trip to provide the word of God to the people and he was also able to minister to many people there. His heart was touched by the peoples dedication and commitment to go to church to seek Jesus...as the people there had to travel by man made canoes through the jungle in the dark to get to and from church...how we should be inspired by their love for Jesus! Yet here in America we allow weather, distance and activities keep us from church.
Annie Horner was a blessing to this trip...she was a great help in the medical clinic and with the children. She was humbled by the joy these people had in small things and the contentment that each one had. She went on this trip with the heart to bless the people and was blown away how they blessed her in return.
Rachel Zabel heart was forever transformed. She found that being busy with the things of the Lord brought great fulfillment! Rachel was able to see God's provision for this trip and has seen first hand that where God leads He provides as she was blessed with a lot of financial help in order to make this trip. She was an amazing servant of the Lord and used greatly to minister to young girl and children.
Adina Celestine was able to go back home for this trip as her family is from Trinidad. She was blessed to see God begin a great work in restoration in her parents life. She is excited as family members were saved and baptized on this trip.
Francis Celestine also was used greatly in his homeland. He was able to go back home and bring the word of God. He is excited to see all that God has for the people of Trinidad and Guyana.
Jeanne Hallman was amazed at the hand of God throughout this trip. She spoke of how she witness and saw the things of God...deaf girl learning to sign, people being saved, the desire to know God and seek more, the heart of loving servants. She was truly blessed and stretched spiritually through this trip.
Pastor Tom was able to go out and bring God's word to the people. He spoke of the unity God brought in this missions team and how God formed them and gave them great joy even when they were tired for there work in Trinidad and Guyana.
The over all theme that each of them shared was how God give a call and when you obediently respond He will do Great and Mighty things!

"These Guys"

CCW was GREATLY blessed by the visit from Pastor Cisco, Chuck and Carlos from CC Livingwater. They were a huge help to our church...they worked from the moment they arrived till they left. Lots was accomplished through their hearts of service. Our fence in the church yard was mended, the youth room was transformed with new flooring and cabinets, lots more was done.Pastor Cisco was able to encourage the body through his teachings at church and also has he ministered to the youth at Mike's Skate Shop. Chuck was a huge encouragement as he gave a devotion at the Men's breakfast Fellowship. It was a great time of fellowship to be reunited with "these guys"! Thank you for all your hard work and blessing the body here at CCW.

Never Leave Your Partner Behind!

We were truly blessed by our Married Couple's Movie Potluck Fellowship! We gathered for some great food and fellowship and then ended with a showing of "Fireproof" movie. It was an incredible movie! I praise God for the actors and film makers who volunteered their time and gifting to put this movie out on the BIG SCREEN! It was a powerful message about how God created marriage to be a bond that a husband and wife take very seriously and never give up on.Most of us were in tears throughout the movie but it was a great reminder of many things in our journey through marriage...here are a few I think are worth noting (if you have not seen the movie...you must!)
1. We pursue to be great men and women to this worlds standards and want to be a Hero to someone...yet we don't try as hard most times to be our spouse's hero.
2. God made marriage a sacred union and too often we let things, people, and hobbies become more important and more desirable. We miss the gift of marriage!
3.Power of Prayer...it is amazing what God does when we get down on our knees and invite God into our marriages!

Go all out...Become your Spouses Hero...and NO MATTER WHAT...NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR SPOUSE BEHIND!!!!

"So there are no longer two but one. Therefore what God as joined together, let man not separate." Matthew 19:6

It's WORTH the Work!

Walk Worthy Mens Conference

God truly blessed the men this year with a day away. They headed out for a day conference. Their theme for the day was "Walk Worthy." I know that they were each blessed and challenged by God.We are continually praying for these men..that God would allow them to grow strong in Him and become amazing men, husbands and fathers of God.

CCW's Easter Celebration 2009

Easter was a huge blessing and a real JOY! It is always amazing to be reminded of how much our God loves us that he sent His son to die and raise again to give us hope of Eternal Life! We had a fun packed Easter Celebration. The Children's Ministry celebrated by doing crafts and learning the story of God's love and Jesus' sacrifice for them through Resurrection egg hunt. We were also blessed by having a special family visit us and our special needs ministry. It was our pleasure at CCW to welcome Ben and his family and look forward to their next trip to Williamsburg. We had a family potluck lunch celebration after service. YUMMY...there was so much good food and best yet...lots of love and joy in fellowship.
