Mike's Skate Shop Outreach

Here is Pastor Tom giving out a devotion to the kids at Mike's skate shop. It is such a special time to be able to go down once a month and bring worship and God's word to these kids.
Continue to pray for these young kids, they are at an age where they now become accountable for their own lives. Many don't have someone in their lives to bring them to church or to even model to them what the love of Jesus looks like or how His grace feels. We see many of the same kids each month come back and they are being drawn in and learning to love God personally!
The Hallman Family as well as the Mezzapesa's and the Bilderback's and the Barrera's and Ms. Brittany all drove down to support this ministry and to be available to love on these kids and the parents that bring them.
After the message the youth that raise their hands that want to make a new life with Jesus, come and sit and they are prayed over and given bibles and resources to help them stay on the right path. It is so exciting!! One of the young boys, we have seen his mom faithfully bring him each month and it was confirmation that we were right where God wanted us to be each month as he raised his hand and wanted to receive Jesus into his own life personally.
We brought the extra candy bars that we made to bless the dad's at our church to the skate shop and went out into the parking lot and blessed dads that were coming into the next door grocery store. It was so cool, Ms. Lori had these really cool million dollar tract bills that had the message of God on them and we would hand out the candy bars and the million dollar bills and say " Happy Father's Day from Calvary Chapel Williamsburg, God thinks you're worth a million bucks!" and they would smile and look and read it and they just thought it was so cool. They were truly blessed. A few men even came back as they were leaving to thank us and tell us how much they appreciated it. The way God leads...just always blows us away!!
