This past Sunday at CCW..the church body honored and gave thanks to Pastor Tom and his family for all that they do to serve and love the body and the community we live in. We believe it was the best "surprise" celebration to be pulled off!! We have been planning this for the past 2 weeks :) They say that you are known by your works...well it is completely obvious to us here at CCW that the Lord has truly called not only Pastor Tom and Ms. Jeanne to Virginia to serve His people but also Patrick and Matthew and so we wanted to bless the entire family and say "You know we know the sacrifice it takes on the entire family to be available to teach us, to serve us, to come to our homes and hospitals to pray over us, to be available to answer the phone calls at all hours and the countless things we don't see it must be on your family time and we APPRECIATE it GREATLY!"

Keith Grant, Tony Ped and John Barrera all took turns in laying hands and praying God's blessing over Pastor Tom and his family.



The church body put together a 'Family Thank You" basket filled with lots of goodies(games, puzzles, family devotion book, coupon book, love coupons, Panera Bread Gift cards, etc.) to help redeem the special opportunities that they get to spend as a family! We also included thank you cards from the families at church.

Whats a Celebration with out some dessert...we had a time of fellowship along with cupcakes, a chocolate dessert, bagels and cream cheese and Patrick hooked us up with Starbucks goodies...funny how the Lord worked that out...Patrick had no idea we would be having this celebration!
