Calvary Colonial Kids just began an 8 week study on the book of Jonah. The kids are having lots of fun and are learning so much about the choices that they too make. Do they follow God? So far we have seen how God asked Jonah to go into the wicked city of Nineveh and how Jonah responded to God. Jonah felt that the people of Nineveh deserved punishment from god because they were bad people. So Jonah decided to run from God and get onto the boat and hide. Next week the kids will learn what happens when we "try" to run from God. How all our answer and responses have a consequence. Each week the kids are blessed with iWorship, bible teaching, a cool snack and game to reflect the lesson that week.
This past week the kid's all dressed backwards, made boat pictures, and made a cool snack boat using hard boiled eggs for the boat pretzels and cheese for the sail and gummy bears for Jonah.
