"My family and I moved to Williamsburg Virginia after serving in Southern California for 13 years. We began to serve God's people at Calvary Chapel and the Lord took hold of our hearts and led us to Virginia. We heeded God and moved upon His calling on our lives. The Lord directed us to Williamsburg, and since then He has established Calvary Chapel here in the most historic area of the United States! We are very blessed and humbled to be here and used by God." -Pastor Tom Hallman

Children's Ministry Training Conference at CC Newport News
We were blessed to be able to attend a training conference hosted be CC Newport News. This was an awesome time of being encouraged and trained up to fulfil our ministry and refocus on the calling and purpose of training up God's children. The conference was very interactive and hands on, so we had so much fun.
Pastor Philip Biles did an awesome job instructing us in connecting childrens hearts for Jesus, safety of our children while in our church and also taught us some fun ways to engage the children! The children's ministry is truly the BEST and funnest place to serve in the church!
Here's a statistic to show you just how important the children's ministry is: 85% of individuals accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior before the age of 14. After children reach the age of 14 the odds decrease to 6% accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior
