Our youth headed out this last week to CC Lynchburg to join several other Calvary's for a youth retreat. They got to camp out and fellowship with several hundred other youth. The theme for the retreat was reaching out in Missions. Wes Bentley was the guest teacher from Far Reaching Ministries. He captured the kids hearts with testimonies of FAITH from what God is doing in Africa. He shared how faith takes a stand to defend the women and children of Africa. He challenged the youth to be BOLD in faith, to ACT with steps of faith and for them not to wait for others to step out but for them to be the FIRST to act in faith.
"My family and I moved to Williamsburg Virginia after serving in Southern California for 13 years. We began to serve God's people at Calvary Chapel and the Lord took hold of our hearts and led us to Virginia. We heeded God and moved upon His calling on our lives. The Lord directed us to Williamsburg, and since then He has established Calvary Chapel here in the most historic area of the United States! We are very blessed and humbled to be here and used by God." -Pastor Tom Hallman
