"My family and I moved to Williamsburg Virginia after serving in Southern California for 13 years. We began to serve God's people at Calvary Chapel and the Lord took hold of our hearts and led us to Virginia. We heeded God and moved upon His calling on our lives. The Lord directed us to Williamsburg, and since then He has established Calvary Chapel here in the most historic area of the United States! We are very blessed and humbled to be here and used by God." -Pastor Tom Hallman

Historic Prayer Walk
Nearly 237 years ago those who first governed in Williamsburg walked from the then State Capital to the church down the street, Bruton Parish. June 1st was a day of prayer and fasting to seek the Lord in governing the land. This June 1st we joined the community to walk down the historic street where the body from various church sang the same songs of that day and gathered to pray at the footsteps of the same church. Bruton Parish is the oldest active church in America. We praise God for liberty in our great land of the United States of America.
