Vivid Examples at Nazareth Village

When it is time to build a wall will you build it on sand or on a solid rock? Here we see this wall stands because it built on a solid rock.  Jesus said we are to build our life upon a the solid rock too. That is the rock of Jesus. Mt 7:24 -27 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

This is an active olive press. You can see three very large and heavy stones that are lifted up and then used as the weight for the press of olives. There are 3 pressing of the olives. The first press is the finest oil and that is the extra virgin olive oil, the second press is again for commn oil and the third press gives the oil for burning.

Seeing this press and pressure it would mount on the fruit reminds us of the garden of Gethsemane. Gethsemane means 'pressing' and in the garden it is filled with olive tress.  You can imagine and understand the pressure that was upon Jesus as He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane.

Hear Jesus' words here in the book of Matthew, Mt 26:36-38 "Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, "Sit here while I go and pray over there.' And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death."

Easter or Resurrection Sunday is next week, know that when Jesus prayed He was on a mission.
He was fully God and fully man and He was committed to his purpose to be the Savior of the world. Know that the same power that resurrected Jesus has come to be the power in your life.

 Jesus said,
Joh 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.Over twenty years ago Pastor Tom and Joanna stepped out in faith and begun to disciple others in Jesus. Now here in Israel is the fruit of faith. We were saved together, baptized by water and by the Holy Spirit, discipled and then sent out in faith. Pastor Quint and Yolie are ministering in New Mexico, CC Clovis and we are here in Virginia. God is faithful to complete the work He began. Be encouraged in your faith today. He is calling you forward to do great things for Him.
Praise God for such a glorious fellowhip in Jesus.
