Sunday was the kid's ministry field trip to College Run Farm to pick blueberries. The weather said it would be 100 degrees and thunder storms! We had decided that we were not going to cancel the trip with what might be and take a step of FAITH and trust that this was the day that the Lord had made for the children to go out and explore His nature! We rode the ferry over to Surry fed the birds from the back of the ferry..clear skies! Got to College Run Farm, picked great berries and had so much fun...HOT clear skies!! Got back on the ferry headed back to the church for some yummy pizza...clear skies!!! We had literally loaded up the last kid with their parents and were locking up the church when we felt a huge rush of wind and raindrops and looked up...and the STORM was here!!! God loves His children sooo much that He in His great Power and Might held back the storm until we were all done enjoying our beautiful day!!
