Insight: William and Mary

The Insight ministry led by Michael Hagen has continued to bring the truth of Jesus to the college campus of William and Mary. The ground is hard, but with God all things are possible. Please continue to pray for Michael and the team as they will begin working again when the school semester resumes.

A smattering of students gathered together for insight on Sunday morning. It  was a uniquely Christ centered service  on the campus. May the Lord bless and multiply the fruit being produced.

Jeanne was part of the team leading the outreach to the students.

Excitement and enthusiasm are just part and parcel of the man, Michael Hagen.

The Way family and Jason generously gave of their time and  led worship for Insight! A big thank you to them for their sacrifices for the good of the kingdom.

May these lyrics ever be on our hearts and minds as the outreach at William and Mary continues.

Harvest Carnival

This year we tried to bring a little bit of light to a typically dark occasion on Halloween. The theme was Truth &Treats! It was a blast for the kids who came and for the parents as well. The games were outstanding and we succeeded in bring truth to a time known for darkness.

Every event needs people to put it together! These are some of the men  who labored to put the event together.

The grill maser at work!

Jeanne and Patrick smiling for the camera!

Mike and John worked the sound booth for the evening.

A big thank you to all the volunteers and children's ministry leaders who helped put this event together. Without question it was a success.

Family Day at Go-Ape

One of the best events we had this year was at Go-Ape! It was a high ropes obstacle course followed by a barbecue for a well deserved lunch. It was a wonderful turn out by the church family and everyone had a really good time. We celebrated as the families, joined together the Lord Himself. We lived out Acts 2:42 on a summer day.
Signing waiver forms for each of the youth!

One team getting ready to hit the high ropes.

The girls were learning how to buckle up on the ground.

It all action once you are up in the trees.

Jason Callaham destroying the obstacle!

Going up is not for the faint of heart.. look at how high the obstacle is.

The fellas grilling lunch for the people.

The multitudes gathered to hear a word from Tim, the visionary for this family gathering.

The people had to line up to get some of the delicious food that was brought!

CC Philly Men's Conference

The Men's conference in Philly was an incredible time. It was filled with good teaching, pleasant fellowship and wonderful hospitality by our host family Rob and Suze. Jon Courson, Raul Ries, Pancho Juarez and Ken Graves were the speakers for the event, and they brought challenging messages from the Lord. It was a long journey to Philadelphia but it was well worth it!

A small group of the guys at the conference.

Pastor Jon Courson gave a stirring message on the need for each of us to confess our sins. It was truly one of the best nuggets of the day.

Traveling in the van is always relaxing.

The Men who went to CC Philly! It was a lovely day to travel.

Some of the brothers from CC Fredericjsburg who met us at the  conference.

CC Fredericksburg Day Men's Conference

The men were attended  two conferences during the later portion of the 2012. The first was in Fredericksburg, led by Pastor Troy Warner from Lynchburg. Here is a sampling of the day in pictures.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! Psalm 133:1!

Pastor Troy Warner taught the conference. He encouraged the men in the spiritual discipline of prayer!

God has provided a new church van

Friends: God has miraculously provided money for Calvary Chapel Valencia to buy a van. God continues to bless the work being done in Trinidad! It is a sweet seven passenger van! No doubt it will be put to good use allowing people to be brought to and from church. Let the gospel be unleashed in Trinidad.
